Since June 2012, Breakthrough:Water is responding to the water crisis in India and Sri Lanka. We have helped over 195 Villages to have access to clean water in their village less than 3 minutes walking distance.  Our water wells is serving clean water for more than 50,000 people.

Majority of our projects are in Andhra Pradesh, India and 2 Projects are in Sri Lanka.  This year we received requests from over 25 villages for a bore well in their own villages.  Women in these villages are spending 5 hours a day to get clean water.  These villages are in ODISHA state of India.

Villages in Odisha India has no access to clean drinking water. Our team have identified 25 villages and they are still surveying other villages in this region. Our goal is to help these villages to have access to clean drinking water inside their village. This will reduce the hours women go fetch water and use those hours to do something to bring income to their home and or taking care of their children. 100% goes to this project and project related expenses.
